Convert a measurement
Enter a decimal or fraction, then choose From and To units. For volume and weight, select the ingredient and preparation that match your recipe. Density changes with packing, moisture and brand.
Scale a recipe
Set the original and desired servings. Add ingredients with their original amounts, unit and name. Tap a row to edit; swipe to delete. Results update automatically. Cooking time and pan size may need separate adjustments.
Choose the right regional unit
A US cup is approximately 236.59 ml; a metric cup is 250 ml. Australian tablespoons are 20 ml, while metric/UK tablespoons are 15 ml. Fluid ounces measure volume; ounces measure weight.
Favorites and recent conversions
Tap Save on a conversion to favorite it. Recent results are saved automatically. Open Saved to share or delete entries. Data is stored locally; deleting the app removes its local data.
Oven guidance
Fan guidance subtracts 20°C from a conventional recipe. Do not apply this again if the recipe already states a fan setting. Gas marks are approximate; follow your appliance manual.
